Thinking about driving with eRyde? Here's how sign-up works, what documents you need, and how you get paid.
Driving with eRyde means earning on your own terms — you choose when to go online and which trips to take. If you’re considering it, here’s how to get from download to your first fare.
Who can drive
You can apply to drive with eRyde if you have:
- A valid driver’s licence
- A vehicle that meets local eRyde standards
- Vehicle registration and insurance
- A smartphone (Android or iPhone)
- Any permits your city or country requires
Exact requirements vary by location — the Driver app shows what applies where you are.
How sign-up works
The process is designed to be quick:
- Download the eRyde Driver app and create your account.
- Upload your documents — licence, vehicle details, and anything else your region needs.
- Get verified. Once your documents are approved, you’re ready to go online.
Accepting jobs
When you’re online, ride requests appear on your map. Accepting is a single tap — and you’re free to decline trips that don’t suit you. There are no shifts and no minimum hours. Drive at rush hour, on weekends, or whenever works around your life.
How you get paid
Your earnings are calculated per trip and tracked in the Driver app, so you always know what you’ve made. Payout methods and timing depend on your region — the app shows the details for your area.
